Launch of Homegrown Design Challenge

Workshop Architecture and the David Suzuki Foundation are excited to be launching the Homegrown Design Challenge. Submit your ideas for low-cost, easy-to-implement landscape design solutions for front yards, backyards, balconies, schoolyards and laneways in the Homegrown National Park that help to conserve water and energy and to increase biodiversity.

GUELPH URBAN DESIGN SUMMIT

Helena Grdadolnik of Workshop Architecture is going to be presenting "quick win strategies to start implementing good urban design today" at the City of Guelph’s Urban Design Summit on May 6.

Public Art Workshop

Helena Grdadolnik and David Colussi ran an interactive public art workshop in Kingston on Family Day. The city's budding artists created drawings and sculptures and placed them around the 1:10,000 map of Kingston.

The workshop was part of the consultation on Kingston's Public Art Master Plan that Workshop Architecture is helping to develop.

Warming Huts 2014

As part of the 2014 Winnipeg Warming Huts event, Workshop Architecture travelled to Winnipeg last week to help install Red Blanket on the world's longest naturally-frozen skating trail.
